Subject	Finally drove my Z home from Omaha to Phoenix.

Message	Yea I now why wait until winter :( With my job this was the only time I could make it home to drive back until summer, and then it would just go back into storage again because of the heat LOL All in all it the weather cooperated for the drive half way across the country. The only problems I had were when I started it up after a cryogenic sleep... a gas leak from loose clamps, and a mysterious power steering fluid leak. Anyways here a few pics: Leaving the "icebox" aka Omaha Gassing up for the first time in Nebraska... making sure not to get an ethanol blend! Easier said than done. Some nice weather for the trip through western Nebraska Some in car entertainment... not SactoTodd approved LOL Some concept car I saw on my way into Denver... I thought it might be a GTR, but it had a Chrysler 300 with it? Quick pit stop in Colorado Springs... Snow :roll: The best part of my trip... traveling on Route 66!!! Finally home!!! Time for a good quality wash/underbody wash to get rid of any salt, nice Phoenix weather, and a trip to Coz for some more upgrades :) Fastest 1/4 mile time: 12.09 on stock engine/turbos/intercoolers Midwest Online Z Community Site Admin
